Keep air compressors, dryers, and filtration equipment in good working order to supply dry, clean air for robotic pick-and-place systems and pneumatic parts. Control the diesel generator sets, transformers, and HT/LT power distribution to provide a steady power supply and reduce output losses during blackouts. Maintenance of centralized vacuum loading systems, dehumidifying dryers, and blenders required to get plastic resins ready for molding is part of the material feeding systems. In order to prevent contamination and preserve operator comfort, make sure that the production area and cleanrooms have adequate climate control and ventilation. Maintaining all utility equipment according to planned maintenance schedules will help to avoid "breakdown" situations.
