PPC Executive for Production Planning & Scheduling Job Description Who you are: Using sales projections and verified customer orders, develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Examine the availability of machinery and labor to make sure the production schedule is feasible and realistic, avoiding excessive overtime or idle time. Work with the Purchase division to guarantee that components and raw materials are available "Just-In-Time" (JIT) to avoid production stoppages. To maximize "Inventory Turn Ratio" and reduce dead stock, keep an eye on the levels of finished goods and work-in-progress (WIP). Monitor each job order's status on the shop floor, spotting possible delays and rerouting resources to fulfill pressing delivery deadlines. Determine the manufacturing process's limitations and modify the timetable to preserve flow.
