CNC Operator Flawless Making, One Cut at a Time
Job Description:
The "Precision Machinist" and "Component Crafter" of the production line is the CNC operator. Operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) equipment, such as lathes, mills, or routers, to create high-quality parts with extreme accuracy is your main responsibility. As the "Technical Executor," you supervise machine cycles, carry out offsets, and guarantee dimensional integrity in order to translate programmed instructions into tangible reality. A meticulous individual with a "Right-the-First-Time" mentality who can sustain steady production speeds while closely following safety and quality procedures is the ideal candidate.
Key Duties:
Machine Operation: As directed by job orders, set up and run CNC machines to carry out operations including drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
Loading and Unloading: Use vises, chucks, or fixtures to safely mount raw materials (billets, castings, or sheets) into the machine.
Cycle Monitoring: Keep an eye on machine operations to spot issues like out-of-tolerance machining, then make any necessary adjustments to machine controls or tool offsets.
Quality Inspection: Compare completed items to engineering plans and blueprints using precision instruments.
Tooling Maintenance: To guarantee surface smoothness and dimensional accuracy, keep an eye on tool wear and repair dull or damaged inserts or cutters.
Documentation: Keep daily production logs that include the quantity of parts made, the percentage of scrap, and any machine downtime.
Basic Maintenance: To prolong the life of your equipment, do regular machine cleaning, lubrication, and coolant level checks.
We invite you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity!
