Key Duties: Machine Operation: Use 3-axis or 4-axis Vertical Machining Centers to execute preprogrammed sequences for drilling, boring, and milling. Loading & Fixturing: As directed by the setup instructions, safely load raw materials or semi-finished items into vices, fixtures, or onto magnetic tables. Dimensional Verification: Make sure items remain within tolerance by conducting regular in-process inspections with precise instruments including depth gauges, micrometers, and vernier calipers. Offset Monitoring: To preserve accuracy, keep an eye on tool wear and make small wear offset adjustments at the controller. Deburring and Finishing: Manually deburr and clean completed pieces to make sure they are free of sharp edges and prepared for the following step. To avoid part rejection or machine damage, keep an eye out for dull or chipped cutting tools and notify the supervisor or setter.
