The Brain Behind Steady Things The E&I Supervisor Job Description: Responsibilities: Team Leadership: Oversee and plan the E&I Technicians' daily responsibilities, allocating them according to project priorities and skill levels. Work Planning: Arrange and supervise Shutdown/Turnaround and Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks, making sure that all equipment, spare parts, and licenses are prepared. Technical Troubleshooting: Offer expert-level advice for fixing high-voltage distribution faults, PLC logic problems, and complicated "Loop" failures that are outside the technician's purview. Safety Oversight: Implement Arc Flash safety procedures, Hot Work permits, and Lock-Out Tag-Out. Conduct safety audits and "Toolbox Talks" frequently. Quality Assurance: To guarantee adherence to engineering standards, examine and approve calibration certificates, loop-check sheets, and electrical test reports. Budgeting and Cost Control: Keep an eye on maintenance costs and contribute to the yearly CAPEX/OPEX budget for instrument and electrical improvements.
