Mechanical Engineer Where Efficiency and Style Converge Job Description: Responsibilities: Process Design & Optimization: Using specific mechanical principles, develop and enhance manufacturing processes to boost throughput, decrease waste (Lean), and improve cycle times. Equipment Specification: Determine, assess, and purchase new industrial machinery; supervise production line installation and commissioning. Preventive Maintenance: To reduce unscheduled downtime and increase the longevity of vital plant assets, create and implement strong maintenance schedules (TPM). CAD/CAM Modeling: Use programs like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo to produce comprehensive 2D and 3D technical drawings and specifications for tools, jigs, fixtures, and machine parts. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Use 8D or 5 Whys approaches to conduct investigations into mechanical failures or quality flaws and put permanent corrective measures in place. Project management: From inception to final rollout, oversee capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
