Job Description:
The manufacturing facility's "Equipment Health Guardian" and "Operational Reliability Expert" is the maintenance engineer. Ensuring the greatest uptime and optimal functioning of all industrial machinery, utilities, and plant infrastructure is your main responsibility. As the "Technical First Responder," you diagnose complicated electrical and mechanical problems and put long-term preventative measures in place. A proactive professional with a "Zero-Breakdown" mentality who can manage contemporary automation technology while maintaining the plant's safety and productivity is the ideal candidate.
Key Duties
Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Create and carry out reliable maintenance plans (PM) and make use of condition-monitoring methods to spot possible problems before they happen.
Breakdown Management: To reduce Mean Time to Repair, take the lead in quick troubleshooting for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Root Cause Analysis: To make long-term technical improvements, conduct in-depth investigations into recurrent machine faults using techniques such as Fishbone diagrams or 5 Whys.
Management of Spare Parts: Keep an ideal stock of essential spare parts, overseeing vendor contacts and procurement to guarantee items are accessible at reasonable carrying costs.
Utility & Infrastructure Oversight: To guarantee continuous output, oversee plant utilities such as air compressors, boilers, DG sets, HVAC systems, and water treatment facilities.
TPM Implementation: Promote Total Productive Maintenance programs and educate operators on Autonomous Maintenance to enhance the general health of equipment.
