Job Description: Responsibilities: Quality Planning: Create and carry out Control Plans and Quality Assurance Plans (QAP) for both new and current products, making sure they are in line with client needs. Process Control: Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) to keep an eye on production processes and spot trends, stability, and capability. Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Using techniques like 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone Diagrams, conduct investigations into internal non-conformances and consumer complaints. Audit Management: Help the plant become ready for external certifications like ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or AS9100 by conducting routine internal process and product audits. Supplier Quality: Work along with the procurement team to assess supplier performance, carry out supplier audits, and address problems with raw material quality. Metrology & Calibration: Ensure that all equipment is traceable to national standards by supervising the calibration of gauges and precision measuring devices.

Required Skills: Statistical Mastery: Proficiency with fundamental quality tools (SPC, MSA, Gage R&R) and statistical software (e.g., Minitab). Excellent comprehension of technical drawings and application of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is known as "blueprint literacy." Problem-Solving Frameworks: Knowledge of structured problem-solving (PDCA/DMAIC) and Lean Six Sigma techniques. Instrument Proficiency: Practical knowledge of micrometers, vernier calipers, profilometers, and CMM. Analytical Mindset: Capacity to decipher complicated data sets and make "Go/No-Go" choices under duress. Regulatory Knowledge: A thorough comprehension of industry-specific compliance regulations and quality standards.
