Electrical Maintenance Engineer Help for Plant Lines Job Description Duties: Electrical Maintenance & Control System Troubleshooting: To reduce downtime, diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix complicated electrical control panels, PLCs, SCADA interfaces, VFDs, servo drives, motors, and automated production lines. Power Distribution & Substation Management: Manage the operation, testing, and upkeep of diesel generators (DG sets), transformers, HT/LT panels, circuit breakers (ACB/VCB), high/low voltage switchgear, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). Preventive and Predictive Electrical Maintenance: Arrange, plan, and carry out predictive diagnostics and daily, weekly, and monthly preventive electrical maintenance (PM) procedures. Root Cause Failure Analysis & Power Quality: Implement power factor enhancements and harmonic reduction while conducting a methodical Root Cause Analysis on significant electrical burnouts, voltage fluctuations, or drive trips. Electrical Safety & Compliance Management: Make sure that factory electricity regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, arc flash protection requirements, and statutory electrical inspectorate instructions are strictly followed.

Focus Skills: Deep technical knowledge of industrial control logic, PLC logic diagnostics, SCADA/HMI troubleshooting, VFD parameterisation, motor control centers (MCC), and instrument sensors is possessed by the Industrial Electrical & Automation Command. Power Distribution & High-Voltage Systems: Practical knowledge of DG synchronisation panels, switchgear, transformer oil testing, relay testing, earth pit maintenance, and HT/LT power distribution. Electrical Schematic Literacy & Diagnostic equipment: The ability to use diagnostic equipment (such as multimeters, insulation testers, power quality analysers, and thermal cameras) and understand sophisticated electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs), control schematics, and ladder logic. Industrial Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Extensive understanding of statutory electrical codes, workplace hazard isolation, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and industrial electrical safety laws.
