The Common Admission Test (CAT) » , a nationwide entrance exam, is required of applicants each year to gain admission to India's best B-schools and esteemed management schools like the IIMs. A computer-based exam called CAT 2025 will be administered by one of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) in some cities.

Registration for CAT 2025 is expected to begin in August 2025, and the exam is scheduled to take place on the final Sunday in November 2025.
