Your Duties: Financial Record Keeping: Keep track of all daily financial transactions, such as payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, in the general ledger. Bank Reconciliation: To find and fix any disparities, regularly reconcile bank statements with the internal ledger. Financial Reporting: Create the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Tax Compliance: Make sure the company complies with all local and federal tax laws and prepare and file statutory tax returns (GST, VAT, and income tax). Audit Support: During the yearly audit process, collaborate with internal and external auditors to supply the required documentation and justifications. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee the "Order-to-Cash" and "Procure-to-Pay" processes, making sure that customers' payments are promptly collected and vendors are paid on schedule.
