CNC Operator Building Pieces of Art Out of Alloy Job Description: The "Precision Production Specialist" in the machining division is the CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Operator. Operating automated machine tools to create high-quality parts with precise tolerances is your main responsibility. As the "Technical Guardian" of the production process, you make sure that every part satisfies the blueprint parameters, the machine operates smoothly, and the tools are kept under observation. The ideal applicant is a meticulous professional with a "Safety-First" mentality who can sustain high production volume while guaranteeing the dimensions and structural integrity of each component.

Key Duties: Machine Operation: Fill the CNC machine with raw materials (castings, bars, or billets) and carry out pre-programmed milling, turning, or grinding sequences. Dimensional Inspection: Examine components both during and after the production cycle using Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges. Tool Monitoring: To ensure precision, keep an eye on tool wear and breakage, make simple tool adjustments, and update tool offsets in the machine controller. Blueprint Reading: To comprehend necessary dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish requirements, interpret technical drawings and job instructions. Deburring and Finishing: Carry out manual finishing duties such burr removal, part cleaning, and making sure components are prepared for the subsequent production phase. Daily Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance, such as removing metal chips, monitoring coolant and lubricant levels, and tidying the work area.
