Responsibilities:
Payroll processing: To determine gross and net pay for the entire workforce, compile and validate monthly attendance, leave, overtime, and bonus data.
Statutory Compliance: Make sure that all statutory obligations, including PF (Provident Fund), ESI, Professional Tax, and Income Tax (TDS), are calculated, deducted, and filed on time and accurately.
Tax management includes keeping track of employee investment declarations, confirming evidence, and accurately calculating Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) in accordance with current tax laws.
Disbursement Coordination: To guarantee smooth money transfers to employee accounts, prepare bank transfer files and work with the finance department.
Final Settlement (F&F): Complete the "Full and Final" settlement procedure for departing workers, making sure that all recoveries, notice period modifications, and leave encashments are correct.
Required Skills:
Numerical Accuracy: Proficient in mathematics and able to identify even the smallest inconsistencies in data.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local income tax regulations, provident fund statutes, and labor laws.
Confidentiality: The capacity to manage private financial data with complete discretion and a high degree of integrity.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency with payroll tools and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Complex Formulas)
Experience: 0 to 3 yrs
