Lead Electrical Technician for Plant Electrical Systems
Job Description:
Installing, debugging, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment are the responsibilities of the Senior Electrical Technician, a high-level technical lead. In this position, you supervise the execution of major projects and offer technical advice to less experienced experts. You function as the key troubleshooter for persistent or complex electrical issues that demand a comprehensive understanding of electrical logic and industrial automation. The ideal applicant is a practical specialist with extensive knowledge of high-voltage systems and control circuits who is dedicated to keeping the strictest safety regulations while ensuring zero downtime operations.
Key Duties
sophisticated Troubleshooting: Lead the diagnosis and repair of complicated electrical faults in industrial machinery, distribution networks, and control systems utilizing sophisticated diagnostic instruments.
Supervision and Mentoring: Manage the work of junior electrical technicians, offering technical guidance, on-the-job training, and quality control for all electrical jobs.
Complex Installations: Carry out and oversee the installation of motor control centers (MCCs), complex automation wiring, and primary power distribution systems.
Mastery of Blueprints and Schematics: Interpret and update logic controllers (PLCs), single-line diagrams (SLDs), and electrical blueprints to account for system modifications.
Leadership in Preventative Maintenance: Create and oversee the execution of regular maintenance procedures for switchgear, transformers, and vital backup power systems.
Materials & inventories: Determine and outline the needs for electrical parts and replacement parts, working with procurement to maintain inventories.
