Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Work Distribution: Lead a group of E&I technicians; delegate daily tasks, hold toolbox meetings, and make sure everyone in the team is up to date on the newest safety procedures.
Maintenance Strategy: Manage the PLC/DCS I/O modules, field instruments (transmitters, valves, sensors), switchgear, transformers, and preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
Shutdown & Turnaround Management: Oversee the scheduling and implementation of instrumentation and electrical duties during plant shutdowns to guarantee that work is finished on schedule and within budget.
For complicated issues with VFDs, control valve positioners, or signal transmission protocols (HART, Profibus, Modbus), technical troubleshooting is the last resort.
Calibration Compliance: Maintain the calibration database and certification records; make sure all crucial process instruments are calibrated in accordance with ISO or legal requirements.
Required Skills:
Leadership & Mentoring: Demonstrated capacity to lead an accountable culture and oversee a diverse technical team.
Technical Breadth: Advanced understanding of Low Voltage (LV) control logic and High Voltage (HV) distribution.
Regulatory Knowledge: Thorough familiarity with IEC/IEEE standards and the classifications of hazardous areas (Ex/ATEX).
Project management: Expertise in tracking work orders using CMMSs (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) such as SAP or Maximo.
Experience: 3+ yrs
