Machine Parameter Tuning: Configure TIG power sources, including pre/post-gas flow, AC balance, pulse frequency, and amperage. Prepare the electrodes by choosing and grinding tungsten electrodes to the precise point geometry needed for the task. Back-Purging: To avoid "sugar" on the root side of the weld, set up internal gas purging for stainless steel pipes. Preparation: Carefully clean base metals with acetone or special stainless steel brushes to get rid of all oils and oxides. Blueprint & Procedure Adherence: To satisfy structural criteria, adhere to welding procedure specifications and decipher intricate engineering symbols. Visual & Dye-Penetrant Testing: Use VT and PT techniques to self-inspect welds for surface cracks, tungsten inclusions, or undercut.
