Responsibilities:
System Design & Layout: For commercial, residential, or industrial applications, produce thorough electrical schematics, wire diagrams, and panel layouts.
Power Distribution Management: Ensure proper load balancing and circuit protection by designing and optimizing power distribution networks.
Component Specification: Based on technical specifications, choose and procure electrical components such transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, PLCs, and motors.
Testing and Commissioning: Make sure electrical systems fulfill performance standards and safety regulations by conducting thorough on-site testing.
PLC & Automation: To automate industrial operations, create and troubleshoot logic for SCADA systems and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
Safety and Compliance: Verify that all installations and designs adhere to national and international electrical codes.
Required Skills:
Software Mastery: Expertise in MATLAB/Simulink, EPLAN, or AutoCAD Electrical.
Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of control systems, electromagnetism, and power electronics.
Troubleshooting: The capacity to locate and correct circuit problems using diagnostic instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal cameras.
Regulatory Expertise: Extensive knowledge of grounding/bonding procedures and electrical safety laws.
Project management: The capacity to oversee budgets and schedules for extensive electrical installations.
