Electrical Engineer Forming the Basis of Energy
Job Description
Duties:
Electrical System Infrastructure Design: Use computer-aided tools to create, evaluate, and improve electrical wire diagrams, control circuit schematics, and Single-Line Diagrams (SLDs).
Power Distribution & Load Management: Calculate transformers, circuit breakers, busbars, and cable sizing thresholds while supervising the layout installations for high and low voltage power networks.
Control Panel & PLC Automation Integration: Create, connect, and program industrial control panels that incorporate switchgear, variable frequency drives, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Testing and Plant Commissioning Support: Perform thorough testing and commissioning procedures for new electrical installations, including phase-sequence checks, insulation resistance test cycles, and earth-grounding verification.
Breakdown Troubleshooting & Root-Cause Analysis: Use Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify complicated electrical system problems, power surges, or component failures throughout the floor and put long-term solutions in place.
Focus Skills:
Expert operational ability to read, understand, and alter intricate electrical blueprints, layout drawings, control loop diagrams, and wiring routes is known as schematic and drawing literacy mastery.
Electrical Design Software Fluency: Practical drafting skills with industry-standard engineering programs.
Automation Hardware Comfort: Excellent working knowledge of major industrial automation companies, including Delta, Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB, and Rockewell Automation.
Diagnostic Meter Tool Competency: The ability to utilize professional workshop measurement instruments, such as digital multimeters, clamp meters, megohmmeters (meggers), and earth testers, with confidence and precision.
