Your Duties: Oversee all line-side quality control procedures, such as dock audits during all shifts, final quality control (FQC), incoming quality control (IQC), and in-process quality control (IPQC). Customer Grievance & 8D Management: Serve as the main technical point of contact for customer complaints; initiate containment measures right away; and oversee cross-functional teams (CFT) to finish organized 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone investigations to stop flaws from escaping. Advanced Tool & Mold Trial Validation: Oversee quality functions during new tool trials; design final process capability windows (Cp, Cpk); audit and approve IQ/OQ/PQ validation protocols. Ownership of PPAP Core Tools: Oversee the creation and submission of detailed Product Part Approval Process (PPAP) paperwork, making sure that APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA (Gauge R&R) matrices are carried out correctly. Metrology & CMM Protocol Optimization: Oversee the plant's calibration schedule and examine inspection setups for intricate, aesthetically pleasing, or multi-cavity components to make sure they match the Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) prints provided by the customer. QMS Standards Compliance & Audits: Organize Layered Process Audits (LPAs), oversee internal plant audits, and maintain and enforce sector-specific quality systems.
