E&I Supervisor Jobs in Injection Moulding Industry Job Description Duties: Frontline Team Supervision & Work Allocation: Oversee daily shift operations for contract workers, electricians, and E&I technicians; allocate work orders for instrument calibration, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance to guarantee the best possible plant coverage. Breakdown Emergency Response & Troubleshooting: Oversee quick troubleshooting in the event of unexpected electrical tripping, power outages, sensor malfunctions, or control loop mistakes; assist technicians in identifying field instrument, PLC, VFD, and MCC problems to reduce downtime. Scheduling Preventive and Predictive Maintenance: Execute weekly and monthly PM work orders in accordance with production schedules; monitor equipment health using predictive maintenance methods. Work Permit & LOTO Safety Leadership: Before letting technicians operate on energised or dangerous equipment, enforce stringent Permit to operate procedures, Lockout/Tagout isolations, hot work permits, and arc-flash safety regulations.

Focus Skills: E&I Maintenance Supervision & Leadership: Excellent ability to lead, guide, and coordinate a group of contract workers, industrial electricians, and instrument technicians across multi-shift plant operations. Electrical Power & Control Systems Knowledge: Real-world experience with transformers, power distribution, industrial motors, Motor Control Centers (MCC), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and low/medium voltage switchgear. Instrumentation and Automation Troubleshooting: Knowledge of HART communicators, signal loops, basic PLC/DCS diagnostic logic tracing, and field instruments (pressure/temperature/flow transmitters, control valves, positioners). Control of Permits and Industrial Safety: comprehensive knowledge of electrical arc flash safety, hazardous area regulations (ATEX/IECEx), lockout/tagout, permit to work management, and PPE compliance.
