The Raider https://specfive.com/products/specfive-raider » is Spec5's first high-end tactical device purpose-built for military, search and rescue, and first-responder teams who need a mesh radio that won't let them down: maximum transmission range, accurate GPS location, and enough battery to run for days, not hours. It's built around a fully metal housing: an aluminum-extrusion body capped with machined aluminum end pieces, sealed to an IP68 rating, so it holds up to the conditions those missions actually happen in rain, mud, dust, drops, and full submersion. Where earlier Spec5 mesh devices have used plastic enclosures, the Raider is the first product in the lineup with a machined-metal build from the ground up, paired with a full 1-watt radio for maximum range and a 6000 mAh battery rated for 4–5 days of runtime on a single charge built to last the length of a mission, not just a shift.
