Job description Final Quality Control Inspector

Key Responsibilities • Conduct final inspection of finished products before packing and dispatch. • Perform visual and dimensional inspection as per drawings and specifications. • Use Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Screw Gauge, Gauges, and other measuring instruments. • Verify product dimensions, appearance, workmanship, and other specified characteristics. • Identify, record, and segregate defective or non-conforming products. • Prepare and maintain final inspection reports and quality records. • Verify inspection results and ensure products meet required acceptance criteria. • Coordinate with Production, Packing, Stores, and Dispatch teams regarding quality issues. • Ensure rejected products are properly identified and controlled. • Maintain product traceability and inspection records. • Support corrective and preventive actions for recurring quality issues. • Ensure measuring instruments are properly handled and calibrated. • Follow company quality procedures, 5S, and safety requirements.

Qualification • ITI / Diploma / B.E in Mechanical or related discipline.

Experience • 1–5 years of experience in Final Quality Inspection, preferably in a manufacturing or precision engineering industry.

Required Skills • Good knowledge of engineering drawings and specifications. • Hands-on experience with Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Screw Gauge, and gauges. • Knowledge of dimensional inspection and quality control procedures. • Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation. • Good communication and problem-solving skills. • Ability to identify and analyze product defects.
