Your main objective is to convert medical services, procedures, and diagnoses into billable claims by making sure that all codes, provider information, and insurance details are accurately recorded. You serve as the gatekeeper for data integrity; a claim denial could result from even a minor typo in your work. The ideal applicant can sustain high speed and accuracy in a high-volume data entry environment, is extremely detail-oriented, and has a basic awareness of medical terminology.

Key Skills: Alphanumeric Accuracy: Outstanding data entry abilities, emphasizing "right-first-time" entry for intricate medical codes. Medical Knowledge: Knowledge of basic medical terms, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes. Software Proficiency: Microsoft Excel and RCM software experience. Attention to Detail: The capacity to identify minute variations in patient policy IDs or provider NPI numbers.
