Job Description:
The Payroll Executive is in charge of managing the organization's payroll operations from start to finish, making sure that every employee is paid correctly and on schedule. Managing personnel data, computing wages, deductions, and bonuses, and making sure that regulatory requirements like Professional Tax, personnel State Insurance (ESI), and Provident Fund (PF) are strictly adhered to are all part of this job. For employee inquiries about pay, taxes, and benefits, you will serve as the main point of contact. The ideal applicant is extremely well-organized, extremely private, and well-versed in payroll software and labor laws.
Key Duties:
Payroll processing: To compute gross and net pay precisely, gather and validate monthly attendance and leave data.
Statutory Compliance: Make sure that all statutory obligations, such as PF, ESI, TDS, and professional tax, are calculated, deducted, and remitted on time.
Variable Pay Management: Determine and handle commissions, bonuses, incentives, and overtime in compliance with corporate guidelines.
Tax Administration: Organize the issuance of Form 16 or annual tax certificates, oversee employee tax declarations, and confirm investment proofs.
Employee Lifecycle Management: Work with HR to update the payroll system for wage increases, promotions, terminations, and new hiring.
Grievance Redressal: Within predetermined timeframes, address employee concerns about reimbursement claims, tax deductions, and pay discrepancies.
Settlements: Oversee the "Full and Final" settlement procedure for departing workers, making sure that all recoveries and dues are computed correctly.
