Job Description
Duties:
Maintaining Financial Records: Enter daily financial transactions into the general ledger, such as payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Financial Reporting: Create precise balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Bank Reconciliation: To make sure that business records and bank statements match and to spot any inconsistencies or fraudulent activity, do routine bank reconciliations.
Tax Compliance: Make sure the business complies with local and federal tax laws and prepare and file statutory tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax, VAT).
Audit Support: During year-end audits, assist internal and external auditors by supplying the required paperwork and justifications for financial entries.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Keep an eye on aging reports to make sure clients are paid on time and vendors are paid on time.
Focus Skills:
Technical expertise: in-depth understanding of statutory compliance and accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS).
Software proficiency includes extensive Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and a thorough understanding of Tally, SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
A keen eye for spotting financial irregularities and accuracy in managing intricate numerical data are examples of attention to detail.
Ethical Standards: When managing sensitive financial data, a high degree of integrity and professional ethics are required.
