Job Description: Designing, deploying, and optimizing relational databases to enable business applications is the responsibility of the SQL Developer, a professional data engineer. Your key goal is to make sure that data is always accurate, safe, and stored effectively and quickly. You are the "architect of information," creating intricate stored procedures, optimizing queries for optimal efficiency, and converting intricate business needs into organized database architectures. A professional with a strong grasp of database engine internals and a strong aptitude for relational modeling would be the perfect applicant.

Key Skills: SQL Mastery: Expert proficiency with Windows functions and CTEs in SQL (MS SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL). Performance tuning: Mastery of execution plan analysis, DMV snapshots, and profilers. Strong knowledge of normalization (1NF to 3NF) and de-normalization for data warehousing (Star/Snowflake schemas). Soft Skills: The capacity to explain technical database concepts to stakeholders who are not technical.
