Responsibilities: Java Application & Microservices Development: Use Java and the Spring Framework to design, create, and manage secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications and microservices. RESTful API Design & Integration: Create, record, and utilise reliable RESTful web services and APIs to guarantee smooth integration between front-end systems, external services, and essential backend databases. Database engineering and data management include managing ORM mappings, creating relational and non-relational database schemas, writing optimised SQL queries, and putting caching techniques into place to reduce database latency. Code Quality, Automated Testing, and Code Reviews: Maintain high code coverage requirements, write thorough unit and integration tests, and use peer code reviews to enforce stringent coding standards.
