Job Description: Responsibilities: Machine Operation: To carry out milling, drilling, tapping, and boring operations, operate 3-axis or 4-axis VMC machines. Loading and Unloading: To avoid machining errors, firmly clamp workpieces onto fixtures, vices, or jigs while making sure they are properly aligned. Dimensional Inspection: Compare parts to designs using precision tools including height gauges, micrometers, and Vernier calipers. Tool Monitoring: To preserve surface finish quality, keep an eye on tool wear during the machining process and replace any dull or damaged inserts or cutters. Basic Offsets: To maintain part dimensions within the necessary tolerance range, use small wear offsets in the machine controller. Coolant & Lubrication: To avoid tool damage and machine overheating, monitor and maintain coolant concentration and oil levels on a regular basis.

Required Skills: VMC Knowledge: Real-world experience running vertical machining centers. Technical reading: The capacity to decipher symbols and 2D technical drawings. Precision measurement: practical proficiency with both digital and manual measuring instruments. Material handling: Understanding how various materials (Al, SS, MS) respond to feeds and machining rates.
