Key Duties: Machine Operation: To carry out milling, drilling, tapping, and boring tasks, operate 3-axis or 4-axis VMC machines. Loading and unloading: To avoid machining mistakes, firmly clamp workpieces onto fixtures, vices, or jigs while making sure they are properly aligned. Dimensional Inspection: Compare parts to plans using precision tools including Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges. Tool Monitoring: To preserve surface finish quality, keep an eye on tool wear during the machining process and replace any dull or damaged inserts or cutters. Basic Offsets: To maintain part dimensions within the necessary tolerance range, perform small wear offsets in the machine controller.
