Observe and certify important tests such instrument loop checks, insulation resistance tests, high potential (Hi-Pot) testing, and continuity tests. Examine equipment used in explosive environments to make sure it complies with IECEx or ATEX regulations, paying particular attention to flameproof enclosures and inherent safety barriers. Determine flaws and "non-conformances," make thorough punch lists, and monitor them until they are fixed.
