Build the Specifics AutoCAD Experts Required
Job Description
The "Technical Draftsman" and "Visual Architect" of the engineering team is the AutoCAD Design Engineer. Creating accurate, superior 2D and 3D technical drawings using conceptual concepts, sketches, and engineering data is your main responsibility. As the "Blueprints Guardian," you make sure that each line, dimension, and annotation complies with production capabilities and industry standards. A meticulous professional with a spatial perspective who can translate abstract engineering concepts into practical building or production designs is the ideal candidate.
Responsibilities
Drafting & Design: Using AutoCAD and integrated specialized toolsets, produce comprehensive 2D technical drawings, schematics, and 3D models.
Technical Specification: Adhere to GD&T and ISO/ANSI standards by applying exact dimensions, tolerances, and annotations to drawings.
Design Verification: To verify viability, examine and compare designs with engineering calculations, construction codes, and material specifications.
Cooperation: Work together with architects and project engineers to improve design ideas and add "Redline" changes to master drawings.
Standardization: Keep the company's CAD library, which includes standard blocks, layers, line types, and template files, up to date.
BOM: To make procurement and production planning easier, create precise BOMs and part lists straight from CAD data.
File Management: Ensure that the shop floor or construction site has access to the most recent versions of all design files by managing version control.
Skills:
Software Mastery: Expertise in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); further knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, or Civil 3D is highly advantageous.
Engineering Knowledge: A solid grasp of construction techniques or manufacturing processes (fabrication, casting, and machining)
Spatial Reasoning: Outstanding capacity to convert 3D objects into 2D orthographic projections.
Accuracy: Excellent precision in unit management, stacking, and scaling
Problem Solving: The capacity to spot structural errors or design interferences when writing.
We invite you to apply and explore this exciting opportunity!
