Process planning involves figuring out the best order for roughing, semi-finishing, and high-speed finishing cycles. Tooling & Holder Selection: To reduce vibration and deflection, choose strong tool-holding systems and the best milling cutters (Face mills, Ball-nose, Bull-nose, Drills, and Reamers). Post-processing: Produce and confirm machine-specific NC code for different control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Haas), making sure that the output from the post-processor is error-free. 3D Simulation: Use large-scale virtual simulations to identify and stop over-travel problems, tool-holder interference, and spindle collisions. GD&T Interpretation: Verify that the programmed pathways satisfy all Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing criteria by analyzing intricate blueprints and three-dimensional models.
