Blueprint Reading & GD&T Competency: Excellent ability to decipher and use intricate geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) callouts, such as runout limitations, concentricity, and surface profile bounds. Manufacturing Process Literacy: A strong grasp of fundamental industrial manufacturing techniques, such as progressive die operations, plastic injection molding framework, sheet metal stamping, and welded assembly sequences. Basic 3D CAD Modeling Adaptability: Using 3D CAD platforms (like SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Creo) to generate baseline 2D drawing projections from solid models with additional operational comfort.
