Production Manager Continuous Improvement & Kaizen Job Description The main "Plant Execution Anchor, Manufacturing Output Director, Resource Optimisation Engine & Operational Excellence Leader" in each of our manufacturing sites is the Production Manager Manufacturing Strategy, Plant Operations, Capacity Planning & Operational Excellence Specialist. Your main responsibility is to oversee, manage, and optimise end-to-end plant manufacturing processes, while executive leadership and plant directors set company strategy, capital expenditure budgets, and long-term expansion targets. As the "Guardian of Overall Plant Throughput, Manufacturing Cost Efficiency, High-Yield Quality Standards, and Shop-Floor Safety," you assume overall operational responsibility for the timely, safe, and profitable conversion of raw materials into high-quality final products.

Key Duties Plant Production Strategy & Master Scheduling: To fulfill sales orders on time and under budget, create, implement, and manage master plant production schedules, capacity utilisation plans, and labour allocation strategies. Cost Optimisation & Yield Enhancement: To increase overall plant profitability, keep an eye on unit production costs, spearhead scrap/rework reduction initiatives, maximise raw material utilisation, and oversee shift operational budgets. Lean Manufacturing & Operational Excellence: To maximise assembly workflows, remove operational bottlenecks, and enhance overall OEE, oversee plant-wide continuous improvement programs (TPM, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Kanban). Cross-Functional Alignment & Supply Chain Integration: To guarantee smooth material availability, zero component shortages, and zero defect manufacturing output, work closely with the supply chain, procurement, quality assurance, and plant maintenance teams.
