Creo Design Engineer Mechanical Assemblies Job Description Duties: 3D Parametric Modelling & complicated Assembly Design: Use PTC Creo Parametric to create completely constrained, reliable 3D parametric models, complicated mechanical assemblies, and mechanism simulations while guaranteeing correct mating, interference checks, and motion analysis. Sheet Metal, Casting, and Surface Modelling: Use Creo's Advanced Surfacing, Sheet Metal, and Mould Design modules for manufacturing to create intricate sheet metal parts, intricate cast/molded components, and superior aesthetic surfaces. 2D Manufacturing Drafting & GD&T Application: Create thorough 2D production drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and ISO standards, including section views, surface finish symbols, thread callouts, material specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. DFM/DFA & Prototyping Coordination: Conduct Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly evaluations to guarantee that components may be effectively machined, cast, forged, fabricated, or assembled; assist in the construction and testing of physical prototypes.

Focus Skills: Advanced proficiency with PTC Creo Parametric (Parts, Assemblies, Sheet Metal, Advanced Surfacing, Mechanism Design, Creo Simulate, and Windchill PLM/PDM) and parametric CAD. GD&T & Manufacturing Drafting Expertise: Comprehensive understanding of tolerance stack-up analysis, fits, manufacturing drawing standards, and ASME Y14.5/ISO GD&T concepts. DFM/DFA & Manufacturing Process Knowledge: A practical grasp of CNC machining, assembly line methods, plastic injection moulding, metal casting, forging, and sheet metal fabrication. Design Validation & FEA Simulation: Capacity to use Creo Simulate tools for safety factor assessments, displacement checks, modal analysis, and structural static stress analysis.
