Electrical Engg Control Robotics and Plant Efficiency Job Description: The main "Electrical Systems Anchor, Power Infrastructure Specialist, Electrical Reliability Engine & Engineering Compliance Guardian" for our manufacturing plant operations is the Electrical Engineer-Industrial Electrical Systems, Power Distribution, Equipment Maintenance & Electrical Engineering Specialist. Your main responsibility is to design, maintain, troubleshoot, optimise, and engineer all plant electrical infrastructure, power distribution networks, motor control centers (MCC), variable frequency drives (VFD), power transformers, and automated manufacturing equipment, while plant directors and engineering heads set high-level capital expenditure budgets, infrastructure upgrades, and overall facility strategies. As the "Guardian of Electrical Reliability, Power System Efficiency, Electrical Safety Compliance, and Equipment Upgrades," you assume direct responsibility for guaranteeing the facility's power and machine operations are safe, stable, and continuous.

Key Duties: Plant Electrical Power Distribution & Engineering: To guarantee a high power factor and continuous plant power supply, supervise the high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) power distribution networks, sub-stations, transformers, switchgear (ACB, VCB), diesel generators (DG sets), and capacitor banks. Electrical Troubleshooting & Equipment Maintenance: To reduce unscheduled downtime, identify and fix electrical problems in automated machinery, motors, control panels, motor control centers (MCC), variable frequency drives (VFD), and electrical utility systems. Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Execution: To avoid catastrophic electrical failures, carry out planned electrical preventive maintenance (PM) procedures, thermography surveys, insulation resistance (Megger) tests, and earth pit resistance checks. Electrical Design, Modifications & Projects: For new equipment installs, capacity expansions, and facility modernisation projects, create electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLD), cable sizing calculations, and panel layouts.
