Technical Leadership Role Production Manager Job Description The main "Plant Operations Director, Strategic Execution Leader, Production Optimisation Engine & Manufacturing Quality Guardian" in each of our manufacturing facilities is the Production Manager in Manufacturing Operations Plant Operations Leadership, Strategic Production Planning, Resource Optimisation, Quality Control & Enterprise Performance Analytics Specialist. Your main responsibility is to plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee all shop-floor manufacturing operations, facility resources, production schedules, and plant personnel, while Vise Presidents of Manufacturing, Chief Operating Officers (COO), and Enterprise Executives set corporate profitability targets, long-term expansion plans, and macro operational strategies. As the "Guardian of Annual Plant Output, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Zero-Defect Quality, Cost Efficiency, and Workforce Safety," you assume direct execution responsibility for transforming enterprise sales projections into smooth, profitable, and legally compliant manufacturing execution.

Key Duties Strategic Plant Operations & Master Production Scheduling: Manage all manufacturing operations from start to finish, converting demand planning and sales projections into optimised Master Production Schedules (MPS) and daily line execution goals for every plant department. Capacity Planning and Resource Optimisation: To maximise throughput and meet plant P&L goals, optimise plant capacity utilisation, line allocation, capital equipment utilisation, raw material consumption, and shift labour deployment. Operational Excellence & OEE Maximisation: Promote lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce unit production costs, minimise unscheduled downtime, remove operational waste, and constantly improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Quality Assurance, EHS, and Regulatory Governance: Maintain a zero-incident plant environment by enforcing thorough quality management systems (ISO/IATF standards), leading root-cause analyses for significant non-conformances, and adhering to stringent Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.
