Quality Inspector Security for Each Output Stage Job Description Duties: Incoming, In-Process, and Final Physical Inspection: In accordance with Control Plans, Quality Inspection Standards (QIS), and blueprint requirements, perform practical dimensional, visual, and surface quality inspections of incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and completed products. Precision Metrology & Gauge Handling: Verify instrument calibration before to use by operating physical inspection equipment such as Vernier Callipers, Micrometres, Height Gauges, Thread Gauges, Bore Gauges, Dial Indicators, Optical Comparators, and Hardness Testers. First-Off/First-Piece Inspection Sign-Off: To approve the start of a manufacturing line, conduct thorough first-piece inspection checks at the outset of every production shift, setup change, or tool changeover. Defect Tagging, Quarantine, and Non-Conformance Isolation: To avoid mixed non-conforming inventory, immediately isolate out-of-spec materials, affix physical Quality Hold/Quarantine tags, document defect details, and issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Shop-Floor Quality Collaboration & Scrap Logging: Keep track of daily shift rejections, classify different types of defects (such as porosity, dimensional deviation, burrs, and surface scratches), and give QA Engineers precise scrap data for root-cause investigation.

Focus Skills: Practical Mastery in Precision Metrology: Proven proficiency with common measurement tools (Vernier Callipers, Micrometres, Height Gauges, Gauging Pins, Thread Pitch Gauges, Surface Roughness Testers, Hardness Testers). Engineering Blueprint & Drawing Reading: The capacity to apply fundamental Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles, comprehend symbols, read technical engineering drawings, and interpret dimensional tolerances. Defect Identification & Material Quarantine: A practical understanding of non-conformance tagging, material isolation, quarantine zone procedures, defect classification, and physical inspection processes. Shop-Floor Safety & Quality Discipline: PPE use, clean workstation procedures, standardised inspection checklists, and strict adherence to factory safety regulations.
