An Exciting Possibility for Supervisors of Quality Job Description Who you are: Oversee daily shift quality operations, assigning technicians and quality inspectors to final, in-process, and receiving inspection stations to guarantee full shift coverage. Supervise line quality gates, conduct random shift process audits, confirm first-piece/first-off inspection clearances, and make sure operators follow SOPs and Quality Control Plans. Manage Quality Hold tags, issue Non-Conformance Reports, oversee the immediate physical isolation of products that don't meet specifications, and arrange Material Review Board dispositions. Use 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams to guide shift-level defect investigations. Work with QA Engineers and Production Supervisors to put immediate containment and remedial measures in place. Ensure that all laboratory equipment, gauges, and shift measuring devices are checked, handled correctly, and calibrated on time.
